According to CDA officials, the civic agency, as per its announcement, will prefer overseas Pakistanis, and locals would be placed on the waiting list. “We have 500 applications from overseas Pakistanis against 238 plots, so we will hold balloting for the overseas first. It seems the majority of plots would be procured by the overseas Pakistanis,” said an official of the CDA. Over 500 expats apply for 238 plots of one kanal He said all applicants were serious, as locals paid around Rs13,000 in the processing fee while overseas Pakistanis paid $50 in fees. The officer said that after concluding this auction, the CDA will also go for the auction of residential plots in another sector, likely I-12 and C-15.
