BAJAUR: Traders of Khar Bazaar, the main commercial centre in Bajaur district, on Saturday demanded the early arrest of people involved in the knife attack on Thursday that left the owner of an eatery dead and injured his brother. Speaking at a meeting, they also threatened to hold a protest demonstration if their demand was not met immediately. In a statement issued after the meeting, the traders expressed concern over the knife attack. They said that the incident occurred when a trader, Habib Khan along with a relative, attacked Azizur Rehman and his brother with a knife in their restaurant after exchanging harsh words with them. The meeting was informed that 20-year-old Azizur Rehman, who was also a student at a local college, died on the spot, while his brother was wounded critically. The participants demanded of the district police officer to take serious notice of the incident and arrest the accused involved in the attack.
