KARACHI – Qatar Airways has denied reports claiming it has closed its offices in Pakistan, reassuring customers that it is operating flights “as usual.” The national airline of Qatar shared its response on social media platform X, stating: “Qatar Airways flights to and from Pakistan are operating as usual, and our offices remain open.” “Recent published reports claiming that Qatar Airways has closed offices in Pakistan are incorrect,” read the statement. The clarification comes after reports claimed that it had closed its offices nationwide to reduce expenses, but flight operations will remain unaffected. Reports further claimed that services such as counter sales, administration, and finance will be shut down. Meanwhile, Qatar Airways recently announced the resumption of flights to Damascus, Syria, after a gap of 13 years. More from this category Copyright ©2024.
