ISLAMABAD: The Serena Hotels Masters Cup Tennis Tournament commences on Thursday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital at the Peshawar Services Club, featuring top eight male and female players from across Pakistan. According to the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), a press conference was held on Wednesday in Peshawar to officially announce the tournament. While expressing his delight at hosting such a prestigious event in Peshawar, PTF president Aisam-ul-Haq emphasised the importance of taking high-level tennis tournaments to different regions of the country to promote the sport. Aisam on the occasion also announced that this Cup is part of the Serena Series, which will be extended to other cities of Pakistan in the near future.
