NAROWAL: A compressor explosion in an ice cream factory in Ghani Town, near the petrol pump in tehsil Sambarial, district Sialkot, claimed the lives of a man and his son and left one person injured. According to Rescue 1122, a sudden explosion occurred in the factory and injured 52-year-old Shabir, his son 30-year-old Shoaib and 50-year-old Salim. Rescue teams provided first aid to the injured and shifted them to the Sambrial Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Hospital sources said that Shabir and Shoaib succumbed to their injuries upon arrival. Local police gathered evidence. Rescue officials confirmed the accident was caused by a compressor burst.
