reports that an Israeli bombing has killed five Palestinians in the eastern neighbourhoods of the city in the south of the Gaza Strip. It’s been more than six months since Israeli ground forces invaded Rafah, promising a “limited” operation against Hamas fighters in the city where more than 1 million Palestinians had been sheltering.
