The Israeli President’s Office said Isaac Herzog is cancelling his planned trip to the UN’s climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, citing “security considerations”, according to the , reports,. The Israeli daily did not elaborate but said that several Israeli ministers and officials would still be attending the meeting. It added that “Israel’s delegation is taking place under tight security, given the country’s proximity to Iran, though Azerbaijan itself is seen as an ally of Israel.”
