Israeli military says projectile launched from Yemen intercepted

The Israeli military said that a projectile launched from Yemen was intercepted before it crossed into Israeli territory, Reuters reports. The military earlier said sirens had sounded in a number of areas in central Israel following a launch from Yemen.
