RAWALPINDI: As many as 73 more people were infected by dengue virus on Wednesday, taking the tally to 850 in the current season. A total of 233 patients arrived in the three government-run hospitals in the last 24 hours on Wednesday out of which 73 were confirmed dengue cases. At present, there are 202 denguepatients admitted to Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital, Benazir Bhutto Hospital and Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Most of the patients arrived from Kulyar, Shakrial, Khanna Dak, Lakhan, Gangal, Chaklala, Dhoke Munshi, Rehmatabad, Kotha Kalan, Morgah, Dhamial, Chak Jalaldin, Girja, Satellite Town, Qayyumabad, Kattarian, Gulistan Colony, Dhoke Gujran, Dhoke Syedan, Tench Bhatta and adjoining areas. According to official figures, three denguepatients are in critical condition.
