DURBAN – South Africa beat Pakistan by 11 runs in the first match of the 3-match T20 series at the Kingsmead Stadium. The first T20 match between Pakistan and South Africa is being played in Durban, where South African captain Heinrich Klaasen won the toss and elected to bat first. The South African team scored 183 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. David Miller scored 82 runs, while George Linde contributed 48 runs. In reply, Pakistan were restricted to 172 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Rizwan scored 74 runs while Saim Ayub made 31 runs. The Pakistani lineup includes captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, Usman Khan, Tayyab Tahir, and Mohammad Irfan Khan Niazi. All-rounder Salman Ali Agha has been left out of Pakistan’s playing XI for the first T20I.
