KARACHI: Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Asif Haider Shah on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements for the 17th International Urdu Conference — Jashan-i-Karachi— scheduled to be held from December 5 to 8. During the meeting, Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi President Muha­mmad Ahmed Shah provided a briefing on the conference. The meeting was also attended by the culture secretary, Karachi commissioner, municipal commissioner of the Karachi Metrop­olitan Corporation (KMC), police and security officials.
