KARACHI: Danilo Giurdanella, the consul general of Italy in Karachi, has expressed the hope that the presence of FPT, an Italian multinational designer and manufacturer of transmissions, axles, diesel and petrol engines in Pakistan, will aspire other Iveco group companies to enter the local market and capitalise its true potential. He said this at the launch of R24 FPT Engines in Karachi. According to a press release, the new series is aimed at providing innovative solutions to industries and businesses across Pakistan to reduce their carbon footprint and increase efficiency. The consul general congratulated the management of Power Zone for their efforts to bring FPT Industrial to Pakistan by introducing innovative and sustainable alternative energy solutions. FPT Industrial is one of the largest companies in the powertrain sector and is now part of Iveco Group that produces powertrains for on-road, off-toad, marine and power generation applications. The Italian diplomat hoped to see active presence of FPT in Pakistan for many more decades to come and aspire to have the presence of other sister concerned companies under the Iveco group to enter the Pakistani market and capitalise on its true potential.
