QUETTA: Three brothers were killed in an armed clash between two groups in Qila Abdullah district on Tuesday. Levies officials said the clash took place at Gulistan Cross area in which both groups fired at each other used automatic weapons. The deceased and the other group’s members were cousins. Their enmity was the result of a family dispute. “Two brothers were killed on the spot in the clash which continued for some time,” the Levies officials said, adding that the third brother injured in the firing later succumbed to his bullet wounds. The deceased brothers were identified as Shamsullah, Ikramullah and Ezzatullah. Their bodies were later handed over to their family members after medico-legal formalities. The local administration has deployed a heavy contingent of Levies and police to avert further clashes between the two groups. Further investigation was in progress. No arrest was made in the case so far.
