Two brothers killed in Jamrud attack

KHYBER: Two brothers were killed in a firing incident in Jamrud here on Monday. The police said that Abdul Malik and his brother, Falak Jan, were on their way to Karkhano market in Peshawar in a car when unidentified assailants opened fire on them in Wazir Dhand market. They said that both received multiple bullet injuries and were rushed to Hayatabad Medical Complex where they were pronounced dead. The assistants made good their escape after the incident while taking cover of the traffic rush on the main road. The police said that reason behind the gruesome killing could not be immediately known as they registered a case against the unknown assailants and started investigations.
