As per first information report registered under sections 376 and 292 of Pakistan Penal Code, complainant ‘M’ of Rasoolpura locality alleged that she was on her way back by foot after selling bed sheets in different villages when four men stopped her between Chak 407-GB and 412-GB and took her to a maize field where they raped her at gunpoint. She said when she ran out of the field, the suspects overpowered her and nine of their accomplices took her to the field and gang-raped her. The suspects have been identified and one of them has been arrested. Meanwhile, a fake faith healer allegedly raped a woman in Mohallah Islamabad at Faisalabad. According to FIR registered under section 376 of PPC, complainant ‘A’ told the Madina Town police that his sister used to visit a faith healer. He said his sister along with her seven-year-old niece went to get an amulet for her cure. The suspect took them by his car to his house where he raped her for four days and set her free after six days. Police have arrested the suspect. Jaranwala Saddar police arrested on Monday two men for raping a woman at Chak 352 GB. Complainant ‘A’ alleged in his FIR registered under section 376 of PPC that his daughter went to a sugarcane field located in front of his house when two men overpowered her and raped her. Both have been arrested.
