BAJAUR: Nine police personnel were wounded after a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in Bajaur on Saturday. Police and Rescue 1122 officials said the vehicle was on the Inayat Kallay-Bhai Cheena road when it was hit by a bomb planted by the roadside. Shahpur Khan, the SHO of Lowi Sam police station, was among those on the vehicle at the time of blast. Israr Khan, a spokesman, told that the contingent was returning to the police station after visiting the Bhai Cheena area for resolving a dispute between two tribes when the incident occurred. All the wounded personnel were admitted to the Khar district headquarters hospital, officials said. The injured policemen were identified as Dilawar Khan, Sahibzada, Muhammad Rahman, Faizullah, Sajjad Ahmad, Luqman Khan, Hayatullah and Ijazul Haq.
