LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore and Multan, on Tuesday announced the result of Intermediate annual examination Part-I. In Lahore, 162,684 candidates appeared in the examination, and of them 84,785 were declared successful. Lahore BISE Controller Examination Muhammad Zahid announced the results during a ceremony at the board office, where BISE Secretary Rizwan Nazir was also present. In Multan division, Commissioner and BISE chairperson Maryam Khan announced the results on the board website. As many as 70,577 candidates applied for the examination, out of them 68,674 appeared and 37,814 were declared successful. As per the results of Multan BISE, pre-medical group showed 68 pass percentage, pre-engineering 72pc, general science 53pc, commerce43pc, economics 73pc, humanities 41pc, chemistry and biology 79pc, mathematics 86pc, physics and English 90pc each, while the humanities group has 51 pass percentage.
