TOBA TEK SINGH: Jhang Kotwali police claim to have arrested a milkman who had allegedly mixed sedatives in the milk he supplied to a customer and after his family fell unconscious, made a nude video of a young girl and used it to blackmail her father. The police recovered the suspect’s mobile phone and deleted the nude video, sending him behind bars. Complainant Arshad, a resident of Marzipura locality of Jhang, had stated in the FIR registered on Sep 4 under sections 292-C and 384 of the PPC that the milkman, Ahsan Aziz of Pirkot Sadhana village supplied him milk spiked with sedatives on Sept 3. He said when all the seven members of the family fell unconscious after taking tea made with the spiked milk, the suspect entered the house and made a nude video of the complainant’s 18-year-old daughter. The suspect later threatened to upload the video on social media if the girl’s father did not pay him Rs200,000. A constable posted in Faisalabad’s CPO office was allegedly shot dead by a robber for offering resistance on Wednesday. Police say Constable Nadeem was present outside his house in Gulberg Colony when a robber attempted to deprive him of his belongings and cash. As the constable offered resistance, the robber shot him, resulting in his death on the spot.
