ISLAMABAD: Promising Pakistan player Nadir Mirza caused an upset victory against compatriot and top seed Ahmed Nael Qureshi in the ITF Pakistan J30 Ali Embroidery World Junior Tennis Championship here at the PTF Tennis Complex on Wednesday. Nadir outclassed Ahmed 6-2, 6-4 to cruise into the boys’ singles quarter-finals. Pakistan’s Mohammad Talha Khan also moved into the next round when he routed Thailand’s Patham Laosakulporn 6-1, 6-4 while Hamza Roman, another home player, overcame Korea’s Youngchae OH 6-4, 6-3.
