Mr Gondal said due to climate change and other factors, most parts of the world are facing severe water crisis, adding that “Rawalpindi city is also facing water shortage due to excessive draw down of water and drastic ground water depletion”. “Wasa is trying hard to manage water supply distribution in Rawalpindi City,” he said. The deputy managing director Wasa also appealed to the public to stop misuse of water and cooperate with the civic agency to implement the Lahore High Court’s orders in true letter and spirit.
