SHANGLA: A man allegedly shot dead his wife and a daughter while injured another daughter after a brawl over domestic dispute in Shang area on the outskirts of Bisham city. Bisham SHO Syed Khurshid Ali Khan said that Sharif Khan, a shopkeeper by profession, killed one of his wives and tried to kill the other one but she managed to escape. He said that after killing his wife, the man opening firing on his two physically-challenged daughters. He said that both the girls received bullets in different parts of their bodies. He added that police and Rescue 1122 teams shifted the injured girls to tehsil headquarters hospital from where doctors referred them to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad. The SHO said one the injured girls succumbed to her injuries at Ayub Medical Complex while the other was stable and under-treatment. Funeral prayers of the deceased woman and girl were offered in Ziaratabad Shang on Thursday. The SHO said that they arrested the accused and recovered the pistol used in the crime from his possession. Police registered FIR under sections 302 and 324 of Pakistan Penal Code against him. NOTICES: DPO Imran Khan issued show-cause notices to 63 police officials for using social media despite the fact that a ban was imposed on them by inspector general of police in August this year. According to sources, the show-cause notices were issued to sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, hawaldars and constables. They have been asked to respond to the notices within a week and explain as to why they violated rules and regulation of the department. They have also been directed to delete their social media accounts within three days otherwise disciplinary action would be taken against them.
