RAWALPINDI: The additional sessions judge on Monday granted pre-arrest bail to three suspects, including a former National Assembly candidate, in the murder case of a JUI worker who was gunned down while his parents and brother were injured over a parking dispute in Ratta Amral on Sunday. The counsel for the suspects filed a petition in the court of additional sessions judge Raja Faisal Rasheed seeking bail before arrest. The court granted them bail on the surety bonds worth Rs50,000 each and directed the police not to arrest them till Oct 5. The court also issued notice to the police to appear before the court with a complete record of the case on October 5. Fiaz Khan, a resident of Hazara Colony, lodged an FIR with Ratta Amral police on Sunday saying that he was a rickshaw driver and so was his son Saqib, 33. On Sunday, Saqib parked his rickshaw outside his house to bring his mobile phone from inside when their neighbour, Babar Jadoon, came out of his house and on seeing the rickshaw parked outside, got its tyre flattened and started abusing him. The victim said when he himself came to talk to Babar Jadoon, he was struck in the head by his accomplice Asad. On seeing him injured, his son Usman came to rescue him, but he too was beaten up. They also beat up his wife, he claimed in the FIR. Later, Babar Jadoon brought a pistol from his car and shot Saqib, injuring him critically. Later the three suspects escaped from the scene till they sought pre-bail arrest on Monday.
