LARKANA: Armed men riding motorcycles shot dead their two rivals in an old enmity near Walidad Gabbar village on the outskirts of Ratodero on Sunday and sped away. The deceased were identified as Wali Mohammed Vessar,60, and Shakir Hussain, 21, residents of Gul Vessar village, according to officials at the Ratodero police station. The bodies were shifted to the Taluka Headquarters Hospital from where they were taken away by their relatives after medico-legal formalities. Ghulam Nabi Vessar, brother of deceased Wali Mohammed Vessar, told local journalists at the hospital that six people of the Jatoi clan had attacked the victims over an old enmity. They accused the area police of inaction about a month ago when despite heavy firing resorted to by their rivals. Their inaction led to the fresh incident, they said. It was said that the Sunday’s attack was carried out in retaliation of an earlier attack.
