Former PPP leader dies

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Advocate Manzoor Ahmed Khan Lound, former divisional president of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and a retired judge of the banking court, died after a prolonged illness. He was 88. He had contested on PPP ticket against Mufti Mahmood in the general elections held in 1977 and lost by a narrow margin. He was a distinguished figure, renowned for his unwavering commitment to justice as judge and democratic political struggle. His funeral prayers were held at the Railway Ground.
