Three killed in different incidents in Wah, Attock

TAXILA: Three persons were killed and one was injured in different incidents in Wah and Attock on Saturday, police and Rescue 1122 sources said. In the first incident, two persons riding on a motorcycle were crushed to death as a sand laden dumper fell over them on G.T. Road near Qaziabad area in the limits of Wah Saddar police station on Saturday. The victims, employees of cantonment board, were going back to their home in Marium Colony when the sand laden dumper fell over them killing them on the spot. Rescue 1122 and National Highway and Motorway Police shifted the bodies to Taxila Tehsil Headquarters Hospital . Later, their bodies were handed over to their families for last rituals. Wah Saddar police have registered a case against the dumper driver and launched further investigation. Due to the accident, traffic remained choked on G.T. Road for several hours on Taxila- Hassanabdal route causing much inconvenience to the motorists especially travelling in public transport. Meanwhile, a man has shot dead his brother over property dispute in village Barra in the limits of Hazro Police station. According to police sources, Hashtam Khan had a dispute over land with his brother. The 57-year-old Raza Khan was working in his field when Hastham appeared on the scene with his gun and showered him with bullets killing him on the spot and managed to escape.
