LAHORE: A man was shot dead while his brother was injured allegedly by rivals in Gujjarpura on Friday. The incident took place when the elders of the area were making a reconciliation between two rival parties but suddenly both sides exchange hot words which led to firing A police official said as one of the suspects opened fire, bullets hit Zohaib alias Lala Saddam and his brother, Qaisar. Lala died instantly while his brother was rushed to a hospital where his condition was said to be serious. He said Lala and his rivals Jabran and Bakhtiar had a dispute over a petty issue.
