LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the authorities concerned to inspect buildings of public and private schools across the province. “Seal schools with dilapidated and precarious buildings,” the CM directed during a meeting with MPAs from Muzaffargarh here on Friday in order to seek their suggestions and recommendations for solving public problems. The CM said the police should create a sense of relief in the public, and a sense of fear in criminals. “Strict and decisive action should be taken against the criminals and terrorists.” She said the trend of crimes against property should be controlled. She directed the relevant authorities to ensure construction, repair and maintenance of main roads of Muzaffargarh on the suggestions of visiting assembly members. The CM also ordered immediate start of a campaign to end encroachments.
