MUZAFFARGARH: Ramzan and his sister were seriously injured when robbers opened fire during a house robbery in the Rohillanwali area on Sunday. The siblings resisted the robbers, prompting the attackers to shoot before fleeing with looted valuables. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a hospital, where they remain in critical condition. Police have registered a case and initiated legal proceedings to identify and arrest the culprits. Local residents condemned the incident and called for action against lawlessness. In a separate incident, the cybercrime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency arrested Taslim Abbas and Noor Ahmed in Jatoi. The duo, part of an organized fraud group, used silicon thumb impressions to illegally activate SIM cards and access victims’ bank accounts under the guise of bank representatives, police or visa agents. The FIA has initiated legal action against the suspects.
