In a statement, the RCCI said the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) system (Iris) had slowed down due to heavy filings. Due to the closure of banks and other related institutions on Saturdays and Sundays, taxpayers are facing difficulties in obtaining bank accounts and other documents, it said, adding that system glitch and slowness complaints were coming from members and traders.
