TAXILA: Four people were killed and two others injured in different incidents in Taxila and Pindighe
TAXILA: Four people were killed and two others injured in different incidents in Taxila and Pindigheb police station limits on Wednesday, police and hospital sources said. In the first incident, a man was killed and two others injured when a speeding truck rammed into a motorcycle on G.T. Road near Comsats University. Owais Ali reported to Taxila police that he, his father, Rehmat Ali, and uncle were going on his motorcycle when a dumper recklessly driven by an unknown driver hit them. In another incident, a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a car near Kharappa Interchange in the limits of Pindigheb police station. Police sources said Mohammad Faizan was travelling on his motorcycle when a speeding car hit him while overtaking a truck, resulting in his death on the spot. Moreover, a 24 years old man identified as Mohammad Noman committed suicide by setting himself on fire over poverty and unemployment in Owaisa Mosque Mohallah in the limits of the same police station. Separately, a woman died after being run over by a wagon near Kamra Chowk in the limits of Attock police station.
