RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto has said that Pakistan does not envisage any dislocation in the United States policy towards this country as there is continuity of policies in institutionalised democracies. … We believe that the present (Ford) administration will continue to pursue the same policy towards Pakistan as the previous administration, he told the leading American television network … (N.B.C) — in a recent interview. … Replying to a question about lifting of US arms embargo Mr Bhutto said it is in the interest of peace in this region and also in the global interests of the [US] to provide arms to Pakistan. For hundreds of millions more, any improvement will, at best, be meagre without such action.
