ABBOTTABAD: CNG Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has rejected the proposal of closure of CNG stations for two months, saying that it would move court against the decision of federal government. Provincial president of CNG Association Pervez Khattak while presiding over a meeting of Hazara office-bearers of the association here at a local wedding hall said that under Article 158, the gas was produced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but despite that the residents of the province were facing its loadshedding, low pressure and closure of CNG stations. All members of the association from Hazara demanded of federal government to reconsider the decision as thousands of people were associated with the business of CNG-run vehicles, especially public transport like rickshaw, taxicabs and vans. They said that hundreds of people would become jobless if CNG stations were closed.
