Attacks on passenger vehicles leave two dead in Kurram

KURRAM: Two persons were killed when unknown assailants opened fire on passenger vehicles in Uchat area of lower Karam here on Tuesday. Police said unknown armed men opened fire on vehicles in Dad Kamar area, killing two persons, including Mushtaq Hussain, driver of a vehicle, and Wahab Ali. A woman got injured, who was taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Alizai. Deceased Wahab Ali was returning home from Qatar after seven years. The police said a heavy contingent of security personnel reached the spot and cordoned off the area.
