PESHAWAR: Wife of Shahbaz Butt, senior photojournalist and Dawn staffer in its Peshawar bureau, passed away here on Sunday after protracted illness. She was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard on Circular Road, Peshawar. Her funeral was attended by a large number of journalists and people from different walks of life. Meanwhile, Dawn staffers have expressed their profound grief over the sad demise and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and provide courage to the family to bear this loss.
