LAHORE: Moderate to heavy rain was reported in various districts of the province, turning weather pleasant on Saturday.Lahore city also received light to moderate rain in the morning. Faisalabad recorded 64 mm of rain, Chakwal 22 mm, Sargodha 25 mm, Sheikhupura 42 mm, Gujranwala and Mandi Bahauddin both 22 mm, and Sahiwal 9 mm. Rain was also recorded in Murree, Narowal, Sialkot, Jhang, Kasur, Joharabad, and Okara. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain in most districts of Punjab. The spell of rain is predicted to continue till October 1. PDMA Director General Irfan Ali Kathia issued instructions to the Deputy Commissioners across the province to remain alert.
