TAXILA: A local court in Attock on Saturday sentenced a murderer to life imprisonment besides imposing fine of Rs500,000 for shooting a man to deathover a family feud in the limits of the city police station. According to the FIR registered under section 302 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), the accused shot dead a man over some family feud and later fled. Police arrested the suspect and during the trial, the prosecution produced substantial evidence against the accused which established involvement of accused in the cold blood murder of a man. Moreover, armed bandits looted a house in mohallah Parri in the limits of Taxila police station. Tahir Mehmood reported to police that he was present in his house when a gang of armed robbers entered his house and took his entire on gunpoint. Later, they searched the house and took away Rs200,000, gold ornaments worth Rs250,000 and other valuables.
