SYDNEY: Late Australian tennis great Neale Fraser will receive a state funeral in recognition of his legacy, officials said on Wednesday. Fraser, a former world number one and winner of 19 Grand Slam titles, was remembered as a “true icon” of tennis when he died aged 91 this month. He won three major singles titles, including Wimbledon in 1960, and 16 Grand Slam doubles crowns. Tennis Australia said Fraser would be honoured at a state funeral service in Melbourne on Dec 18.
