Two bodies found in Attock

TAXILA: Two bodies of unidentified persons were found from different parts of Attock on Sunday, police and rescue sources said. In the first incident, a tortured body of a man in his 50s was found under the woods on Rawalpindi-Kohat Road in the limits of Pindigheb police station. According to police sources, some passersby spotted the body and informed the police who subsequently shifted it to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Pindigheb where the autopsy revealed that the man had been tortured to death. Later, the body was handed over to Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) for burial. Separately, a man was shot in the head and later his body was thrown near Haji Shah Chowk in the limits of Attock Saddar police station. Rescue 1122 shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy. According to police sources, the body had not been identified till the filing of the report.
