Rawalpindi: TNFJ chief Allama Hussain Muqaddasi has said the massacre of innocents in Parachinar is evidence of the government’s failure. Speaking at a Protest Convention for Protection of Azadari here on Saturday, the TNFJ chief asked Pakistan Army to launch an immediate operation in Parachinar. Allama Muqaddasi said the issue in Parachinar was not a sectarian conflict, rather it was the menace of terrorism that was destroying peace. He said KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should focus on maintaining peace in the province, instead of leading rallies. Through a declaration, the TNFJ issued a 90-day ultimatum to the government to accept its demands regarding SOPs issued for Azadari, says a press release. “If legitimate constitutional demands are not met, protests will be held on every street and square of Pakistan,” said the declaration of convention. He also demanded revocation of the ‘sectarian syllabus’ implemented during Imran Khan’s government. He also questioned the composition of the Muttehida Ulema Board and alleged that the controversial members were sitting in it. TNFJ Provincial President Allama Baqir Naqvi presented the declaration, which was unanimously approved amidst resounding slogans.
