BAHAWALNAGAR: At least five persons died and 16 others injured, nine of them critically, when a bus collided head-on with a passenger van on Bahawalnagar-Haroonabad Road near Adda Gajyani on Sunday, in a fog-related accident. As per Rescue 1122 officials, the speeding bus collided with the van due to poor visibility caused by dense fog in the area, resulting in the death of three people on the spot. They say that the two others died while they were being shifted to hospital, along with 16 other injured persons. The officials say that nine of the injured persons were said to be in critical condition, while six of them have been referred to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital, Bahawalpur.
