MARDAN: The officials of the district administration and local police claimed to have arrested four individuals for their alleged involvement in the marriage of an underage girl in Landeshah village, located in Tehsil Katlang. The officials here on Friday claimed that juvenile girl identified as Muskan daughter of Junaid of Landeshah was allegedly sold for Rs 4 lakh to a man from Taxila and her marriage was set for Friday. They said that on Friday morning, Extra Assistant Commissioner Sahar Anwar along with police and Child Protection Unit’s officials came to the house during marriage ceremony to look into the situation and took the minor girl into their custody.
