Arwa Damon, the founder of the International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance (INARA), says that the situation in Gaza is “a complete nightmare”, reports. “The bombing is relentless, there has been no adequate humanitarian assistance, and there isn’t sufficient medical care either,” she told from central Gaza’s Deir el-Balah, where her organisation is assisting people displaced from northern Gaza. “People are deeply traumatised, part of the reluctance to leave the north is fear of the road. People are afraid to be targeted as they are leaving. There are families that are being separated — women and children from teenage boys,” Damon said.
