GUJAR KHAN: A man accused of sexually assaulting a boy two years ago was stabbed to death by the elder brother of the victim on Monday evening. The incident occurred in a barber shop located at Hayatsir Road where Musharraf attacked Umar Farooq with a knife, inflicting a slash to his neck. Police sources said the deceased had allegedly sexually molested Musharraf’s disabled younger brother in 2022. Farooq was arrested following a complaint lodged by the boy’s father. However, he was later released after both the families reached a settlement which stipulated that Farooq would not reside in Gujar Khan. The body was shifted to the THQ hospital for a medico-legal examination. The alleged killer is yet to be arrested.
