Bogie of goods train derails near Padidan

NAWABSHAH: Rail traffic came to a halt on main down track after a bogie of a goods train derailed near Padidan railway station on Tuesday. The train was on way to Karachi from Rohri when it met the accident. Luckily, no loss of life or property was reported in the accident while other passenger trains were stopped at the nearest stations till the track was cleared. Sources said that a relief train was sent from Rohri to remove the derailed bogie from the track. At least eight passengers suffered injuries when a speeding coach collided with a van on National Highway near Sakrand on Tuesday. The coach was on way to Hyderabad from Moro when it met the accident. The injured were taken to Sakrand taluka hospital from where four passengers were shifted to Peoples Medical University Hospital, Nawabshah, in critical condition.
