Bushra, Gandapur booked in seven cases

TAXILA / BAHAWALPUR: Former first lady Bushra Bibi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and other PTI leaders were booked in seven new cases in Attock on Wednesday following recent . According to official sources, the FIRs were lodged with the Hasanabdal, Hazro and Injra police stations against Bushra Bibi, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub and former president Arif Alvi. The FIR stated that the suspects had injured 119 police officials, among them three critical, and ‘snatched’ tear gas, anti-riot kits and mobile phones from the policemen at Islamabad-Peshawar motorway and Hakla-D.I. Khan motorway. The sources said that 30 protesters arrested by the Injra police and five by the Hasanabdal police during the protest on Thursday were presented before courts for obtaining their physical remand. Meanwhile, the Gharaha Mor police station in Vehari district booked Bushra Bibi for her recent video message, which went viral on social media, pertaining to Imran Khan’s visit to Saudi Arabia.
