RAWALPINDI: Another dengue patient died in Holy Family Hospital (HFH), taking the season tally to six, while 83 new patients landed in three government run hospitals in the garrison city. According to health department, so far 1,255 cases were reported in the hospitals of the garrison city. A female patient was brought to Holy Family Hospital (HFH) three days ago with high fever from Chak Jalaldin but could not survive. Total 352 people arrived in Holy Family Hospital, Benazir Bhutto Hospital and Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital but 83 tested positive for dengue. As many as 220 dengue patients are under treatment in hospitals and one of them is critical. On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema asked all the government departments and civic bodies to observe anti-dengue day on Oct 5. He asked citizens to speed up the anti-dengue drive especially in high risk union councils.
