NAROWAL: A private schoolteacher, who was on pre-arrest bail in the on his 6th class student, was tortured by the family of the victim at the gate of Shakargarh courts on Saturday. A first information report (FIR) of sexual assault on the 12-year-old boy by the teacher, a resident village Nathukot, was registered with Shakargarh City Police Station on Sept 8. The suspect had obtained the pre-arrest bail from the local court. On Saturday, he reached the Shakargarh court for the case hearing when the relatives of the victim student attacked his car. More than a dozen people broke the windows of the car with sticks and forced the teacher out. They tortured him with punches, sticks and tore his clothes. Unidentified armed men left the teacher in critical condition and fled while firing into the air. The footage of the torture on the schoolteacher was posted on social media.
