LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Lahore chapter, has claimed the Punjab Police had begun raiding the houses and office-bearers of its leaders and office-bearers as well as arresting those participating in the awareness campaign to mobilise the masses for the Nov 24 Islamabad protest. The PTI Lahore spokesman says the party’s volunteers had launched an awareness campaign by distributing pamphlets as well as pasting stickers on the walls in the markets to urge the masses to join the protest. The spokesman said police had arrested seven workers, including two children, Shayan Ali and Mubeen Ahmad from Islampura, and produced them in the district courts. All those booked by police were discharged by the court.
