Youth dies after ‘being pushed’ in front of a moving train

GUJRANWALA: A youth lost his life on Monday allegedly after being pushed in front of a moving train by a “friend” after a quarrel in Salamatpura area. According to reports, Mohsin and his friend Nabeel, both residents of Salamatpura, had an altercation over a minor issue near the railway tracks. In a tragic turn of events, Mohsin allegedly pushed Nabeel in front of a Lahore-bound train, resulting in the latter’s instant death. City police shifted the victim’s body to a hospital for a postmortem examination. A case has been registered against the suspect, Mohsin, on the complaint of Nabeel’s brother. Investigations are underway. A minor girl was allegedly wounded in attack by a stray dog on Monday in Ghoray Shah locality. As per locals, the incident occurred in Ramzanpura Mohalla, Ghorey Shah Bazaar, near the Minar Wali Masjid, when a minor girl was mauled by a stray dog. The girl was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she is receiving medical treatment.
