Dreams need determination This concerns the story “Dreams need determination” by Saleha Rizwan (YW, August 17). The story was truly inspiring and motivating, highlighting the significance of hard work. One key lesson I took away was that rather than fixating on our problems and feeling dejected, we should concentrate on discovering solutions and taking action. This approach can pave the way for a more fulfilling and harmonious life. This is concerning the article “No one is perfect!” by Ayesha Ilyas (YW, August 3). The writer reminds us that perfection is unattainable and explains that everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Embracing your imperfections and taking responsibility for your mistakes fosters personal growth and strengthens relationships. Criticising others only harms relationships; instead, we should learn to accept others’ flaws and build lasting bonds. This is regarding the article “Let’s turn Pakistan green” by Ambreen Arshad (YW, August 10). The article highlighted how individual efforts in planting trees can significantly improve the environment and ensure a better future for Pakistan. It offers practical advice and encourages community involvement, making a strong case for lasting impact over temporary festivities. This is regarding the article “Public speaking” by Wasfa Khan (YW, August 24). The story gave readers a lesson to believe in oneself and the power of perseverance in overcoming fears. Everyone faces challenges, but with determination, practice and support from loved ones, we can conquer even the most daunting obstacles. The writer also stressed the fact that making mistakes is okay, as growth often comes from pushing through discomfort and not giving up. This concerns the story “From confidence to success” by Sidra Sozer (YW, August 31). The views of the writer resonated with me as I’ve personally experienced moments when overconfidence led to unrealistic expectations. I encourage all teenagers to focus on their efforts and avoid letting overconfidence cloud their judgment.
